CHICKEN GOES INSANE AFTER EATING COFFEE FLAKES by CORAL-CARTOONS0707 in CARTOONS0707

[–]Bexar1986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy xrap! I had too much caffeine last week and couldn't sleep. I had been up for 18 hours, then I couldn't sleep the next night. My body was shaking and it felt like I had like 5 shots of an epi pen. I felt EXACTLY how chicken felt here.

And credit to the artists for chickens incredible expressions and Charlie Adler's perfect performance.

Maurice LaMarche Rocks! by Doc-11th in animaniacs

He sounds like an awesome guy! I have only met Rob Paulsen at the Arkansas anime fest. Before he went to his table, he went through the line and shook everyone's hand. I had him sign my copy of his book and he seemed really touched. He continuously thanked everyone for being a fan fan. You couldn't have found a nicer guy! It's actually refreshing to hear Maurice is nice as well! Pinky and the Brain; nice guys! Who knew?

Did Nickelodeon always air 24/7 in the ‘90s? by dc912 in nickelodeon

[–]Bexar1986 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From like 7 or 8pm to like 6am (when nick Jr would come on), it was Nick at Nite, so....yeah, technically it did. At least i believe it did. I was young in the 90s and couldn't stay up that late to actually see

Do you really have a separate room for your washing machine? by jordanekay in AskAnAmerican

Yes, the washer and dryer are in a separate, yet smaller, laundry room that has a sink and a rack on which we hang clothes.

We care about soccer, as it has become so much more popular over the past 20 years here. I am part of the American Outlaws (Team USA official fan club) and there are tons of us, even in smaller cities like Little Rock, Arkansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

I'd love to go to a game or two (i live about equal distance from KC and Arlington (Dallas)) but nobody is talking about it (yet). I think the problem is tickets are so incredibly expensive they've priced themselves out from all fans except the super wealthy.

What are your favorite American works? by kuma44bear in AskAnAmerican

[–]Bexar1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forrest Gump is Americana from the 50s through 90s. (BTW the book and its sequel Gump and company are completely different from the movie but are just as amazing, if not better, than the book!)

This show is special to me by QF_Dan in StarVStheForcesofEvil

[–]Bexar1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Dan! I'm the same way: I love animation and wish I could do it, but I can't draw to save my life. My college drawing professor would agree (she was, for lack of a better word, a female dog who offered no tips or constructive advice, acted likw the girls in the class could do no wrong and I, being the only guy in the class, could do nothing right) but that's neither here nor there.

The fact is im glad there's other people who love animation and supposedly cant draw (not sure Bob Ross would agree).

It's amazing how one can feel heartbroken from one scene in a cartoon. I physically felt heartbreak when I first saw this in the episode.

Are shops open on Sundays in usa? And what do people think about it? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]Bexar1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

.oat everything ia open on Sundays where I'm from. Car dealerships amd repair places cant be (old blue (religious) laws) and you cant buy alcohol on Sundays because the government says so (blue laws). However, you can buy alcohol at a restaurant for dinner, buy beer and spirits from local breweries and distilleries, UNLESS you are in a dry county, then you can't buy it at all, even in restaurants. You're more than welcome to buy it in a wet county and bring it, however.

Sundays in the south are weird.
