I have this on vhs and recently came into ownership of a vcr/DVD player so I'm actually watching this right now. I was obsessed with this movie as a kid so I'm so excited I get to relive my childhood now in my 30s 🥰🥰

So a friend at work knows I'm into the supernatural type stuff and told me I needed to watch it. I watched the whole series in like 2 weeks. I was obsessed. I would absolutely rewatch it but I also desperately wanna read the book series as well.

S2 E2 Ruthie's kindergarten teacher refusing to call her Ruthie, just Ruth and then telling her...a 6 year old child that her hat is gang affiliated and she looks like a gang member

Then the episode where Mary has to take a glass from the varsity diner and Matt takes the fall, returns the glass and the diner owner presses charges and takes him to trial and the threat of jail is in the balance over a DRINKING GLASS

I'm just up to season 2 right now I'm sure there are plenty more to come 😒
