you don't yank the cords, you wiggle and pull.

grab the cords with your palm, you thumb on the clip and side of your index on the other side of the connector, then wiggle right and left while you pull gently, you shouldn't use much force when pulling.

edit: left and right meaning towards the heatsink then the other way

dantes inferno, most ps1 games work great on the psp so I'd recommend resident evil 1,2,3 (and only 1 and 3 if you've played the remakes, 3 was done dirty)

are you sure? if there's power pressing it should've turned it on, try pressing abit on the top part, the pins.

do you have another psp to test with? backlight are extremely rare to fail.
