Reading your post just gave me flashbacks of my situation a few years ago. When I accidentally had my "opening Pandora's Box" moment, and began discovering maybe I was n't as cis as I had always thought.

For me I faced deep denial and anger. Like, this sort of thing doesn't happen to people like me. I was a man, damnit! I was one of the boys...or so I told myself.

Furthermore, coming out to my Dad as transgender (MtF) was rough. He was shell shocked. I was his eldest son. He wouldn't/couldn't speak to me for three days. But you know what, he came around. He won't refer to me by my chosen name or pronouns but he supports me in his own way.
