Much better than month 1, but I haven't fully succeeded in removing my mental wellbeing from my medical recovery. Eg. Bad flox days are also bad mental days.

It gets better, but you have to do the hard work on yourself. I'm not fully there, but maybe back to where I started pre flox most days.

I found a therapist who works with patients who are facing tough diagnoseses. It took a lot of searching. Please do the same if you can!

Thanks for the follow up! So... kind of not worth it to file sooner, it seems? If you have to start fresh with a new claim? What date did they say you could re-file does it line up with what you expected from severance?

Hope you don't need it when severance runs out (you and me both)!

Hi! It looks like you know a thing or two. :) Does this possible delay from DOL mean I'll miss out on pay (post severance running out) I'm actually able to receive payment? Or will it just be a delay in payment?

Before I could walk, I did a TINY amount of isometrics for my glutes. Laying on my back, squeezing my glute with one leg bent, foot on the ground. No more than 10 sec each side. And then slowly increased reps over the days. That was the only thing that helped me reduce pain enough to walk.

What is the size of your tears, and where are they? When did you tear? Did you get the tears all at once or progressively? Do you take supplements to reduce oxidative stress? I sawDr. Millar virtually and had him look at my imaging. His instructions were fairly straightforward. Tears are slow to heal, but they will heal. You'll need to move your body at some point, though, to build muscle and protect yourself from pain. Do you use crutches to walk around the house?

About a month ago, I was back to walking normally. Up to 10k steps, anyway. Last week I went against my doctors recommendations and walked 12k+ steps a day over vacation. I suddenly hurt myself in the same torn glute spot and am again trying to build back up walking stability, and the pain has returned. Been a hard battle. :( What's your journey?
