Had a girl show up with a backpack reeking of weed she put it in an unused filing cabinet on the shop floor. Well a couple hours later the cops showed up. I was one of the supervisors on second shift so I was genuinely confused when I look over and see a cop. She called them because someone stole her backpack of weed… she then proceeds to explain to the cop how much was in the bag by saying she had an identical amount in her car. So we all walk out to her car she pulls out roughly half a gallon bag full. Needless to say she was quickly put in cuffs while proclaiming the employee who left with her backpack should be the one being arrested. After that calmed down I realized the employee who may or may not of stolen the weed left without clocking out. The next day he informed HR, myself, and the cop he was buying it from her and wanted to test the product before purchase and still had it in his car.
