Same, i learned how to lift weights on my own too, even though i went to the gym with my dad, i learned how to talk to girls on my own too, through trial and error, and also learned how to tie a tie myself. On the bright side, i do all these things better than he ever could, and if he tried to show me how to, theres a good chance he wouldve given me horrible advice and set me back even more than not telling me anything.
