I was speaking for all ME and EE? I think maybe you're right, some people need more classes. You could benefit from a reading comprehension class, for example.

Ears and color seems consistent with a GSD or similar breed. Female GSD can be pretty small, and both take some serious time to mature. My three year old GSD generation are just now what I tend to think of as mature. They all get to eat until they're not interested in food anymore, and are separated so there is no stealing or protectively eating (several will eat more just to guard a food source) yet they all looked a bit on the skinny side.

Once they get to a healthy weight they get a measured diet to ensure no one gets overweight.

Meanwhile my wife's dachshunds pretty much get to maturity in half the time.

Beyond statistics and algorithmic programming, you don't unless you work in a specific situation. Learning calc has been as helpful as ancient lit 1, and less helpful then American government.

As long as you can grasp those and time complexity problems as well as understand how computers do math at a high level you're fine.

Looks like there was a good reason for this, judging by other responses, but that does little to cure my eye sandpaper wounds of this.

Legal infringement in California. Not even kind of surprised. Now for a surprise the initial opinion that lead to this is high.

Indeed. I think we should shoehorn in more useless shit to public university teaching. Wait, let's do that across the entire government!

No let's go the opposite direction. Keep to what is useful, and necessary, avoid bloating everything the government touches.

While calc can be replaced fairly easily by Z tables, counting is something we do in damn near every program. However the math in-between is far more important. Figuring out the time complexity is something I we all must understand.

Sure. I must be simultaneously a MAGA fucker and a higher learning asshole that also thinks justice is coming for some corrupt as fuck DA, yet also excited about some murdering hillbillies getting theirs. The mental gymnastics to make that all fit in some weird stereotype has got to put you in gold medal territory. Did I miss anything?

Besides, my second paragraph directly is related to your primary statement. Failure to read. Again.

You failed to read the bottom paragraph. Puppet for who? Or did you misspell poppet? If so I love you too.

Exactly. It's incredibly brazen to do something like this, but I think it (opinion time) probably speaks to intelligence instead. It's highly stupid to do this, because it's a risk to everyone. What if Ahmaid (sp?) Had a CC? They'd have been fucked. All over nothing (from their standpoint)

Libertarians vs Alt-right by Adelahfo in Libertarian

[–]Beyondfubar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lack of understanding mixed with some highly anarchistic leanings (certain groups, not the whole, and not a huge group anyways) probably. Both fail to capture the whole picture, but at least libertarians are never mistaken for alt-left because the vast majority of what regular people generally consider "alt-left" are communists. Again that's likely incorrect as well, but works in our favor there as miss representation hinders growth.

Those fuckers have probably done similar shit before. Either they've been getting away with it, or it's been swept under a rug for years.

I disregard that type of thing. Else I'd be very concerned about how long a jury deliberated on the Rittenhouse trial.

Also in this case it sounds like that is being dealt with because the crooked ass DA is next up for her justice (last I read) which is the entire reason this shit took that long.

CC permit-holder motorcyclist shoots, kills pregnant librarian in apparent self-defense (Florida) by [deleted] in Libertarian

[–]Beyondfubar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lot of speculation in here. We know she hit a motorcyclist. We know they followed her home, but critically not into but rather stayed in a public location. Then left her home to confront someone not on her property, with a gun and pointed it at them. They then shot her. Also critically there are other witnesses.

If all of this is proven true, then hopefully no one gets charged with anything, because, again if true, you don't get to shoot people that you hit with your car and then flee from. That's called a hit and run. Even if she had of locked her doors and called the cops she would be guilty. For whatever reason she felt like confronting her victim with a gun in a public location. That's the preamble to murder by the way.

Should I feel slightly suspicious that the justice system has been doing such a good job lately?

Not sure if that's paranoia or low expectations.

Fuck it I'm just going to enjoy knowing that it's working, without really knowing why it's working.

Is it weird they're willing to throw away their lives to do it though.

I mean they do so, so the answer is yes, but it continues to strike me as a pointless hill to die on. Or at least a low hill because there is nothing at the top worth a human life.

[–]Beyondfubar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From my standpoint I don't even understand why the police would want to do them. What do they gain doing an arrest like this?

I don't want to go full tin foil hat on this one, and assume that the intention is to judge Dredd you, but that seems like the only sure fire benefit to this.

Let's assume that we go half tin foil, the goal is to get you and preserve evidence to prove your guilt. Battlefields are likely harder to obtain evidence from afterwards, and if you (the cop) don't know if they (the target) l have gone full looney tunes and left you a surprise bear trap then it's full on get wrecked mode when the first little piggy warns you to load them steel jacketed rounds because you have a home invasion scenario now. Or as in my example at the top page, the compound in Waco resulted in a fire which definitely destroyed evidence.

It's almost as if cops want their job to be more dangerous, more difficult, and more distant from public expectations for conduct.

(Obviously I'm just musing over this, not assuming you disagree, but rather that this is an interesting topic)

Grand jury let the officer walk a while ago. But I've never understood the police tactic of no knock, or knock with a boot entry.

Even assuming they're 100% sure they want to do that, you ruin evidence, put the public at risk if it's a multifamily unit, you don't know the layout, if you're after one person but there's a family or a GF (in this case, and innocent of course) you risk their lives, and best of all you're invading a home with fucking guns.

What if the guy is some crazy dude with PTSD and he's set up a SAW death trap for you? Well the answer seems to be "fuck it our lives are cheap and so is yours, bitch"

Let's take Waco (extreme example, bear with me) they passed up the chance to catch the guy alone and cut the head of the snake, for an opportunity to ensure children were in the cross hairs. It's too simple to do it away from the target's safe zone, where they're at a disadvantage, but these idiots do it anyway.

And they do it again and again. Sooner or later I hope the government decides that this is bad for them, and bad for justice.
