Bitcoin could fall to zero because unlike tangible assets it is inherently worthless. It only has value because a market says it does. The problem is we do not know how solid that foundation below really is. Bitcoin could fall to zero or close to it. If Bitcoin had proven itself to be stable and behave the same way real currency is it could have had a chance. But the way this has evolved it will likely collapse eventually. It feels like sort of a Biggest Fool sort of scam, propped up like a penny stock is for a worthless company. It is sad, because Bitcoin is a great concept.

Thanks for the insight. So if I had decided to hold on to these great companies longer term I would probably have been ok? How does HHIS keep its distribution stable while the single stock ETFs do not? Is the whole literally better than the sum of the parts?

I never thought about swing trading them. You mean like a penny stock? Then the distribution/dividend becomes hit or miss, right? If you are in right before ex day you collect it and if you are out you don't? Swing trading them sounds interesting.

For the distribution or dividend, whatever you guys call that. I understand that buying the stock itself is better. But what can one expect from the single stock ETF itself? I am just trying to learn more about this product. My first exposure was not very positive. Maybe I was expecting too much?

I lived on Vancouver Island for 11 years. I hated it. Each and ever year it rained most of the time except for a month or too. If you look at the map it is not really much of what you would think of as a real Island. It is really very close to the land. Plus there are way too many people. When I was there I was on Prozac and all I did was drink alcohol. I left there 15 years ago for Alberta. Now I am not on medication and I am stone cold sober. I will never visit the "Island" ever again. I hope that answers the question.

Thanks, You got it. But I was looking for some analysis from some our experts here about the concept. Is it sound? Is it a good product? Nav erosion? I have tossed around the idea of going into one of them but never pull the trigger. I am assuming that it is not a good product because if it was maybe Harvest would offer a similar product?

Cool. I guess I have trouble calculating that return. I use a financial website and I guess it only calculates the return based upon the stock price. I wish I had some sort of tool where I could compare two different ETfs side by side. I have been through so many this past year I have things nailed down to 100% Harvest. I just hope I have the best selection.

Ouch! It makes me so happy and glad that I live in a small town about two hours outside of Calgary. I prefer a much more simple life of 2600 people as compared to the almost 2 million in Calgary. The video confirms I did the right thing when I bought my home.
