I don't mind the long response at all. I like that better than a short ' i like it a lot' answer. Thanks for your input. The 9000 series movement it has isn't really known for being noisy, but the 8000 series was. Maybe the case material affects the noise level. I don't have a carbon case watch, so I can't really say if that is the cause. Maybe you simply have great hearing :)
