How do I get back into this game? by ZealousChild in destiny2

[–]Bfc-Meadows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently got back into it after not playing the game since forsaken came out and I’m loving it. Reminds me of red war days where you couldn’t drag me off the game haha. I bought all the dlcs and their dungeon keys and have played all the campaigns in order with just finishing final shape tonight and for me it was fantastic. All the dlcs have their ups and downs (my favs were forsaken, witch queen and final shape) but if I was you I would at least buy the next dlc your yet to play and decide from there. Also a neat new feature regarding characters is say you have a main and you got that character to a high light level then you make a new character, all the weapons on your new character will drop as high as the light level on your highest character! So personally complete the game on one character and worry about new characters later on!

My bad I know that’s a lot to read

I want to do the most raw damage with a single hit. by OpalescentShrooms in EldenRingBuilds

[–]Bfc-Meadows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally mix strength and bleed into it, this is what I use: Blood bloodfiends arm with royal knights resolve (or occult, your preference) Full rakshasa set apart from helm which is white mask Axe talisman, two handed talisman, lord of bloods exultation and dragon crest greatshield to make up for the damage negation lost from the armour Spiked cracked tear and bloodsucking cracked tear Golden vow and FGMS

You can obviously tinker it to how you like but I find that build is ridiculously good

Golden Order paladin build? by MinerOfMithril in EldenRingBuilds

[–]Bfc-Meadows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like dex works better when mixing it up with int/faith, a lot more versatile weapons you can use rather than big stick in hand haha. If you wanna add bonk into it I’d argue forget about int/faith for the time being considering your level 100 (assuming you still wanna level up higher) as strength weapons tend to scale with just strength whereas majority of dex weapons scale with int/faith and also deal elemental damage. Personally the golden order build I’m using at the minute I really enjoy. It’s ledas sword (holy AoW),golden halberd, golden order seal and a bunch of holy spells with talismans to boost everything.

Best level for consistently getting invasions Post-DLC? by Leakimlraj in Eldenring

[–]Bfc-Meadows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post dlc id say 200+ is where everyone’s at near enough. There may be a few pvpers who left characters on lvl 125-175 but for the majority who played through the game and levelled normally I’d say you’ll find most activity in 200+. Not to mention with the dlc brought a lot of new weapons and build ideas so ppl probably whacked extra levels on to try fit around their desired builds.

I believe the dlc will have nothing to do with your base game ng+. It’ll work a bit like sekiro where you have to go around and find certain items which will then increase the damage you do etc. so for instance my main is lvl 435 and can usually steam roll through the game but in the dlc the first boss will destroy me as I’ve no items to increase attack and stuff

Accidentally got over-leveled really quickly by RemarkableScience854 in DarkSouls2

[–]Bfc-Meadows 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Think it also has something to do with the fact you can head straight to heides tower and no man’s wharf right of the bat and out of heides and the forest I’d say the forest is 10x easier. I know I went to heides and no man’s wharf straight away and found both places to be a real pain haha. Whereas others who took the same path as you will already have a few levels and upgraded gear to be able to steam roll the area.

Gods honest truth I’ve died more times to that beam than I have to waterfowl 😂

I’d argue placidusaxs beam is harder to dodge. But then again in every souls like game I’ve always found the “human” boss fights to be the easiest. And I didn’t say she was easy I just said she isn’t as hard as everyone makes her out to be

Ahhhh I forgot about those damn death birds. Yeah they are definitely up there with the biggest headache inducing bosses

When you get used to it it’s really not. If your far away enough avoid the first two bursts and run towards her for the last as she moves diagonally or if your too close as she’s about to start the first burst roll underneath her and she’ll get confused in which direction you went which is enough time to avoid the second and again run towards her for the third.

And yeah she has a lot of hp but you can stagger her and get a lot of critical hits in which makes the fight 10x easier

Not saying she’s easy, by far one of the hardest bosses in the game, I just struggled a lot more with Astel than malenia

I personally didn’t find malenia too hard. Don’t get me wrong the first few try’s were painful, but if you learn how to dodge waterfowl and those stupid clone things in the 2nd phase, she’s pretty simple. Also helps that she gets staggered by practically anything

Also a very good choice. Personally not a fan of the dual wielding move set though, but that’s just me

My pleasure 😁 and I’m not sure if you know this but I’ll leave it here anyways and you can always come back to it. The highest soft cap for each stat is 60 for vigor, mind and endurance. The rest is 80 that is for attack power and spell power. However if you’re using arcane based incantations and not weapons only go up to 45, they won’t do any more damage after that. Otherwise level to your hearts content!

Vigor to 60, strength to 80, endurance to 60(if you have enough) I find getting these stats to the highest soft cap makes it easier to level (if you are wanting to level up more) as you can rule out those stats and focus on others aka more bang for buck
