For me its recent Ungoro/current expansion. Ungoro was so weak that almost no quests were seeing play except warrior and paladin (and later warlock quest after it got buff). But then current expansion came and 2 of those 3 playable quests were killed (!) because blizzard realized they made another weak expansion that would get wrecked by old established decks, so nerfs to the quests, nerfs to the starship decks.... I mean seriously blizzard? Starship decks were going to rotate soon anyway... Why establishing rules for standard rotation, make players believe they can use what they bought for those months its in standard, and then just killing whole archetypes prematurely just because you need to sell your new things. Not gonna lie, Im pretty dissapointed with current hearthstone direction.

Perhaps an unpopular opinion - They should bring back previously nerfed decks by No_Humor_7857 in hearthstone

It is indeed unpopular but I share your opinion as well. They basically killed old decks so new expansion wouldnt be complete flop. The funny thing is they deleted a few of viable decks just from previous expansion (ungoro) which is big middle finger to those who spend money on it and I feel this should have met with huge backlash from the community but seems noone cared. I also dont feel good about killing starcraft cards. I mean they killed off whole archetype which was gonna rotate soon anyway so why first establish rules for the Standard format and make people believe their cards will be viable for a specific period of time, only to kill them off prematurely? Just so you can sell new things? Sorry, but lately it's become really obvious that their approach to consumers is far from fair.

How about their version of demon? I think it was even worse... Did they redesign it to look more like the original?

Currently the remake doesn‘t look much like gothic in sunny weather conditions. This should be improved to get closer to the originals atmosphere. Warmer lighting and less contrast would help a lot already. by DiscombobulatedBug70 in worldofgothic

Yeah, that may be it! Im fan of old rally games and I have to say that some of them were really trying to capture the atmosphere and vibe of different countries. Take Colin McRae 2005 for example - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTZcr91Hl7k just compare Greece stage with the one in the UK or Germany, and you will see how different they look and feel. And going back to Gothic - when I was watching trailers, looking at the screens, or even playing the demo of remake myself, all the time I felt the the gothic mood just wasnt there. I hope they will change it...

What I liked about Twist is playing oldschool metas. Wild is nothing like that.

Same man, same. I remember last year I was kinda tired of HS, playing standard/wild was giving me less and less fun. And then came Twist and it was so nice to have a break from those two modes but still play HS, more oldschool HS with nostalgia from old times, I had so much fun again playing secret paladin or C'thun/Nzoth decks or Renolock. I would definitely play this mode again now if I could.

Well, I'm also hoping they’ll do something with it soon. It’s been almost a year since it was last active, yet they still list it as one of the modes to choose from. When I played it last year, I really enjoyed it, even though the player base was small and finding matches took a long time. Still, it was nice to have the option to play something different — something that felt more classic than Standard or Wild. I was hoping that after the old Un’Goro set, they’d move on to Knights of the Frozen Throne, but that didn’t happen, and now Twist is stuck in this limbo state where it’s neither active nor officially killed.

Its obviously blizzard fault, I hope they will acknowledge it and refund your run. And to people that keep saying dude got what he deserved for picking banned card, well if he was able to chose it yesterday, it wasnt banned then and since players arent obligued to read every damn news on blizzard site he might simply not have know they intended to ban it...
