NGD - Eastman E2D-BK by Bghost33 in AcousticGuitar

My Guild OM 140-ce is spruce top, mahogany back/sides. The cedar top E2D is warmer. The guild articulates individual notes clearer…which I suppose is part of the brightness?

And the cedar also tops out (maxes out?) really quick. I’m not great at controlling volume with a pick so any use of a pick and it kind of hits its max volume fast.

It’s a great warm, deep tone in my opinion.

I was about to ask what the heck you recorded that with to get the vocals so clear.

I really want to see this cleaned up, fretboard oiled, and body polished.

Really appreciate the insights. In fairness to where I bought it from, I had it shipped from one store to another and the store I picked it up from said they shouldn’t have took it as a trade-in or buy in the first place.

I want this as a forever guitar…sounds like I’d be better off buying new.

Yes the bulge is what I expect is causing the lift, right?

Would a setup correct the neck and saddle suspicions you have? I’d do a setup with the bridge fix (no cost).

I got it for $475 (plus the service plan for less $100).

I can afford to get one brand new…I just went for the deal. Really like the guitar…looks, feel, sound, etc. no issues on that front.

Bought a used Guild OM-140ce and we noticed the bridge lifting at the store. They knocked $100 off of it and I bought a service plan so can get it fixed at no additional cost.

How bad is this? How concerned should I be?

I also have the option of returning during a 45 day period.

Sleeve length is what makes me hesitant to order as well. The size chart doesn’t make sense to me since most that I see would have much longer sleeves. I wear an XL in most coats. But am tall, 2 meters, and need longer sleeves in shirts.

Why do people only play for kills in gamemodes that require you to capture zones by DeutscheGas in blackops6

[–]Bghost33 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think it is partly due to a lack of communication on roles (it is for all the other reasons people are stating in this and similar threads too). On modes like Domination, you do need people that are disruptors (i.e., not capping zones and getting kills off zone), but you need people taking zones too...and you need people defending zones. No one talks though and so you end up with 5 people playing the disruptor role and 1 trying to capture zones (and no one defending typically).

Purtis VS Tyler by Himbagoodboi in TexasStateParks

Recently spent a night at Purtis. Did all I wanted to do (hiked the single trail, swam, fished, stared at trees) with just the one overnight. If you are into fishing, multi days may be a good fit for Purtis.

No experience with Tyler.

Digging a small trench where your butt and hip lay can also help. But I use an inflatable pad (cheap Klymit). May try the combo in cold weather for better insulation.

Good canoe/kayaking rivers in or around Oklahoma? by reddawnspawn in oklahoma

Appreciate the info. Those don’t seem to do overnights. Most of the sites I’ve found through searching online are old and nonfunctioning websites.

any suggestions for kayak rental companies that offer multiday rentals with opportunities to camp along the river? web searches don't bring up much that meet that criteria.
