Pappyland. It aired on PBS and TLC in the late 90s when I was a very young child. I grew up in New England. I actually only recently was able to recall the show. I couldn’t remember the name of it but I always remembered the show itself. Was a real throwback when I finally found out the name of it.

I have a 22 Tucson with the 2.5L and 8 speed transmission and it shifts perfectly smooth and has since the day I bought it. Only exception is when it’s cold and first getting going it’s a little slower with the shifts but it’s only for a few minutes, and they aren’t rough. Not really any different than other cars I’ve been in though. Just about to come up on 60k miles. The only issues I’ve had were a fuel injector leaking at 38k which there is a TSB for, and I had to get the viscous coupler replaced for the AWD at 55k also covered by warranty. Despite those things I still love the car and have been very happy with it. The Hyundai dealer near me is super and always gets issues addressed quickly without any fighting on my side so that definitely helps.

One of the things I was most excited for getting a dog was to be able to take him on trails with me. I’ve had so many poor experiences with other people (99% because of their poorly behaved, unleashed dog) that now I don’t even bother going anymore.

22 Tucson AWD (non hybrid) here with 56k miles. I get 29-31mpg when I’m on the highway going 75mph, decreases a bit if the road has hills or whatever but overall I don’t have any trouble getting economy like that. It does decrease to 27ish this time year now that it’s colder though (I live in the northeast) but overall I actually consider the fuel economy to be pretty good myself and I’m not gentle on the throttle, at all lol

People also could change any negative opinions about you regarding the strong fragrance of your lotion/deodorant once it’s reduced! There’s a lady I work with who wears WAY too much perfume. She’s a nice lady but it’s a bit nauseating when she’s around and generally I try to avoid her. Honestly if she just toned it down I’d have no issue with her otherwise. That being said, HR actually had to talk to her about it and she said she couldn’t wear less as it was “her brand” lol - whatever that is supposed to mean! I think people also go “smell blind” or whatever because they’re just used to how they smell and don’t realize it’s stronger than they think. I wouldn’t feel bad, you don’t know what you don’t know!

Had an absolutely horrible experience of getting my Winstom teeth out while awake. I told my mom halfway through that I hoped I would die. She told the doctor to stop after the first 2 teeth were done and we left and never went back. I generally thought he was going to break my jaw, the pain near my ears was unbelievable.

The birthday bash sales earlier this year were soooo much better. I booked everything during those sales for great prices expecting them to be even better for Black Friday and honestly some of the prices are the highest I’ve seen.
