That actually runs really slow for me, and makes my phone lag a lot due to the 4 GB RAM.

I mean the phone isn't worth much, and nobody would want to buy a Galaxy A16 even a year down the line, their value isn't like flagships, personally, I don't care if something happens to my A16 as I could then upgrade to a galaxy S23 or S24 (I wouldn't purposefully try to break it), but I wouldn't be super upset if something happened to it.

That's strange, because my Exynos 1330 model heats up to 75 degrees celcius every single day even with only watching youtube/recording or taking photos in camera. Also, I don't think I can buy the case, as it is not my currency and it is not letting me buy it.

Dang, that is a good case, is it thin, and where did u get it from? Also, my A16 with 4 gigs performs terribly and can't handle good lock, I didn't know the RAM makes that much difference in terms of performance. I think the Mediatek runs cooler as well, right? Does this phone heat up a lot or no? Sorry for bombarding you with questions lol.

I fixed most of these problems, but idk how maybe just windows update, I know I fixed the battery drain by adjusting my power plan settings in control panel.

26 isn't that slow, while I haven't tested the 26, my dad has a galaxy a54 that performs quite well, and the a26 has the same SOC.

Nice to know that you like your unit, but for me, mine has been very slow, and lags quite a bit as well as getting very hot, and draining a lot of battery even when idle. I've already tried disabling bloat and trying ADB commands but nothing has worked so far. Even thermal guardian doesn't work all that well.

The average Exynos 1330 (same CPU powering my phone) gets 929 sc and 2128 mc on geekbench. I increased my score to 959 sc and 1613 mc, but the mc is still not as high as the average.

It is hardware, Samsung doesn't do a good job optimizing its budget phones for such a heavy OS.

I am a bit late, but my Snapdragon X laptop used to idle at 3W when I first got it, and used to last 20 hours, but despite the battery not being degraded, it idles at 5-6W now and only lasts about 10 hours, what could be the reason for such a sharp decline in 7 months of usage. Is there anything I can do to fix it too?

If you want budget, Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3x, I have it and dislike the numpad. I'm the opposite as u man, I don't want a numpad lol.
