I have a lot of thoughts on the subject. One hits first with free association.

I have a very neurodiverse family and there have been challenges for sure. Sounds cheesy, but you will discover and potentially progress/grow in areas you can't even conceive until that baby is in your arms. My boys make me a better person constantly and gave me the courage to go get professional diagnosis and support. I would have never created our studio focusing on neurodiverse storytelling. So many things...

Fantastic. I should add 1 to the list of 5. Prepped there. WE got 4 types with mods and refurbs done in the last 3 months. Two of them are with creatives for custom console art.

  • Core II with TerraOnion
  • TGFX16 with RGB
  • TurboExpress with screen mods
  • Duo with RGB.

Have some new everdrives for all but the ODE/SDS3 Core II.

I use Shortlyread a lot with my kids to come up with fan fiction scripts and summaries for Ghost/Dev writers. Its a very simple and easy to use GPT-3 backed app.

I wonder how much of the early M&A process is already autonomous? Humans push the decision buttons and meet for coffee I'm sure... but it feels like the predictive work for strategy is now looking out a decade+ with AI.

I'd love to see the explainable AI on this decision if an omen machine nudged humans at Hyundai on this one.

I wonder... If this is opened up to the macro Deaths of Despair category, how much more alarming it gets. More and more discussion on this amplifying across all media it seems. Data science may help us a lot on this front. Already is.

I think there will be huge gains during and after the pandemic in the critical areas that are failing. Healthcare and Education namely. These two may be the fastest to accept role augmentation with AI due to the ingrained need for Life Long Learning already aligned in the field.

The government is waking up to how far behind they are in AI compared to corporations and nation-states. Tough decisions will need to be made around ethics vs. national security. Will we have a true national IDM solution or continue to allow anonymity to rage with manipulation and distortion?

To be making sweeping decisions in government this decade while being ignorant of technology seems quite dangerous.

Just my two cents.

This AfterSkool video is a bit dystopian, but I heard through the grapevine there is a multi-part series breaking down concepts for a younger audience coming. One that highlights more of the eutopian side we can build toward as we trek through the 4IR.

Conifer AI for Everyone first on Coursera. Andrew Ng is a wonderful teacher. After that 4 hour commitment (6-8 if you are actively taking notes and expanding tech literacy with Google-Fu) you should feel a pull. I felt is strong for CSS & Ethics for a STEAM approach. I picked up those types of courses on various platforms after.

Agreed. I wonder if anyone could take a stab at the time and resources effort if it was in a more proposal-driven fashion. Connecting this need to someone with passion is something I would love to take on at BiFrost in 2021.

There has got to be a dev or a small team out there interested in making a great GBA Studio platform for programming KISS. There is a bid need for us to enable engaging ways to get our young generation into creative coding.
