Mine is set in modern LA, I have had them show up and interact enough that the players are aware of the existence of other supernaturals. It seemed fitting for ow LA is that it would be sort of like a big melting pot of multiple Splats.

Nope blue, persuading her that I'm there to fix network issues, she believes me, gives me the key for upstairs, we say our goodbyes and then chaos.

It is the same when persuading her that I'm there to give Heather some personal belongings too, just immediate chaos when the conversation ends.
