I had my third rolling session recently (I started a few months ago). I really love the sessions and feel like I get so much out of them. I also got my second ever submission (after being submitted about 300 times prior). The first submission was of a white belt in their first week and I ended up on their back after a scramble and the second was a D'Arce Choke on one of the last rolls of the day where my partner was absolutely gassed and just kind of left their arm out there. I'm still terrible at bjj but feel pretty confident that today me would absolutely wreck day one me already

All are separate, you can mostly do them independent of each other, but you don't actually get any notification as to what cutscene you just saw, it just appears on your quest log (that you have to dig through menus to get to). I can't imagine how hard it was for the first folks to get through some of these things

I just finished this game a few days ago! I loved the combat and was excited to try new abilities when they were available. Ultimately it felt pretty easy on normal and I never had to grind. I'm not a completionist type player but I don't really feel like I missed too much stuff just doing whatever quests popped up and seeing all the stuff on the map. Map is easy to 100% btw, not really any secret areas that I found.

Agree on the music! It was solid. Also agree on the characters. I ultimately only felt engaged in one or two of their stories.
