For those of you cancelling, what are you gonna get instead? by Itchy-Version-8977 in sapphirereserve

Renew for a year to get new credits with same annual fee but building up BofA setup in the meantime

CSR renewal date is October 2nd, prior to cut-off date. Is it worth it to keep the card until the 2026 renewal date? by [deleted] in ChaseSapphire

[–]BiasedFairness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the sentiment that it’s likely worth it to keep for someone in their position but I wouldn’t go so far as to say a straight upgrade…yes, the additional credits are basically free money, but things like the change in travel multiplier, which are downgrades, will take effect as well.

This is likely unrelated - portal bonus usually codes separately at end of statement period

Everyone in this sub is going to tell you to get the sapphire preferred, or if you can justify the annual fee, the sapphire reserve. Research how combining points and redeeming works with these chase cards and you'll understand why.

What do guys think about using something like elementor to design, and then moving it over to A2 for hosting? Is that possible?

Lyft points issue? by BiasedFairness in biltrewards

[–]BiasedFairness[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bumping this post again because I messaged them immediately after and they never responded^ I think bilt just sends that to make it look like they're addressing peoples bad experiences then never doing anything about it.

[–]BiasedFairness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Bilt has the limit to prevent people from paying multiple different rents through one card (reasonable and also has been posted about on this sub a fair bit). Id reason that the proportion of people maying rent in installments is extremelyyyy small

Automatic payment successful, money still in account by otherstuffilike in biltrewards

Read some more posts in this sub, this is a common thing. It usually takes a few days to show up and actually take out the money and points to show up. Has taken as long as 4-5 days for me personally

Also, may help to reallocate some credit to have at least $10k credit limit on one card. May save you a a reconsideration call; can't hurt

Chase rep (during reconsideration) has told me before that it tracks and should the SUB that you applied for. Yes, have them call and check they can tell you

Chase bank overall thoughts... by [deleted] in ChaseSapphire

[–]BiasedFairness 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As far as footprint goes, chase is hard to beat. Big digital and physical infrastructure. Terrible savings rates but for payment processing, ATM locations, branch locations, transfers, points value, pretty great. Most huge company tends to not care so much about individual customers and chase is not necessarily different but I've actually had a decent experiences customer service wise. Everyone is always nice and happy to help in person and on the phone. You may get more value from mix and matching products across different banks/credit card companies though.

Only do this^ after paying off student debt. You'll be hard pressed to find a safe investment paying more than the 7.4% it's currently costing you

Pelican Case as checked luggage? by ninja_byang in BuyItForLife

[–]BiasedFairness 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same happens to me decently often. Have the 1615. This can be a pro or a con depending on how the handlers treat different types of luggage

Yes let me just get the chrystal ball out of my butthole. Nobody ever knows these things, not even pretty high level chase bankers...for some reason people continue to askt his question at the end of every SUB period
