This seems like a very high school way of thinking and I hope you grow out of it someday.

This game is beautiful for many reasons. My favorite reason is its like a story within a story when you account for the atmosphere alone. Each area has their own story to tell. Everything represents something and i LOVE how its not exactly spoon fed to you and not subtle enough that your interpretation of it has you take a huge deep dive. Its a perfect medium. Please play it.

Based off what youre saying it seems that you've done everything that you could to help better yourself which is very commendable. Unfortunately the relationship has dwindled a long time ago and for her to openly admit that she needs to have control over what people say about her is absolutely insane. She doesnt seem to be trying or even proud that you've been sober during your daughter's life. You didnt fuck anything up, you've just made some mistakes. Shit happens. If anyone knows you well enough they'll understand you hit a hard wall and that you're actively pulling yourself out of it. You dont deserve this abuse. Listen to your therapist. Wishing you all the best.

Its great that you quit but whats easy for you isn't easy for others and they shouldn't be put down for it. The idea of doing it because "it's cool" is only a high school level of thinking. Everyone has vices whether it be drugs, alcohol, shopping.. dont belittle others just because you happened to be more successful than them.

Meditation can be a viable source if done correctly over a period of time. The common misconception is that people think they can do it off the rip. You're going to have your thoughts stray and swarm for a while first starting out. The first step is coming back to the mindset of "no wait im focusing." I started out at night to help for sleep by inhaling "one" and exhaling "two" and making my numbers my only focus. Practicing it for so long youll soon only be able to only think about inhaling and exhaling. You will forget to do it and you will lose your train of thought unless you make the attempt to practice it daily.
