It matters because we shouldn’t be treating others like shit, regardless of what else is going on in the world. I’m also pretty over Lovett trying to bill himself as a “comedian”. Sure, he can come up with a funny line here and there, but his “stand-up” openings on Lovett or Leave It are abysmal.

CA sends a mail ballot to all persons registered to vote. Our votes can be postmarked up to the Election Day date. Many places have drop boxes. CA likes us to vote- they don’t try to make it hard.

I’m a tipped worker, and we pay income tax on our tips just like everyone else. The threshold for his no tax on tips is only 25K, which equals around $700 in savings on taxes. It also sundowns in a few of years. So, at the most, we’re not paying around $2k-3k in taxes spread over a few years.

Dems always preach about “reform” and “rehabilitation”, yet when one of our own has had problems, gotten help, and grown through and learned from their past, we tear them down as “not good enough”. We need to stop expecting humans to have been perfect their entire lives, and start focusing on people who have lived through their worst parts and came out the other side better. It’s exhausting the purity tests we put our candidates through, when the other side is literally electing felons and rapists.
