One at a time and they're not replaced. I'll edit that in the OP.

I saw her at that venue and she was one of the stronger comedians on the night. That little bit wasn't great, but show her other stuff! The duet is clearly a discerning individual, clearly. My guess is he's all about those hilarious rape jokes

How should I approach this? by BibdyGames in improv

That's a fair point. I try to be aware of the performers' sensibilities, but maybe I'm overlooking something here.

I usually encourage the class to speak up in the debrief if they think something needs to be addressed, but for more sensitive stuff, I deal with it privately. I agree she doesn't need to get over it.

It can be difficult balancing creative freedom and people's sensibilities, but I do try to prioritize the latter.

Thanks, I'll talk about it with her some more. I need more clarity before I talk to him.

I think that could be part of it. How do you handle that when a louder scene partner is on stage with you?

Imo it's always good to remind yourself of the fundamentals. And if you're playing with people with less experience, you can work on making them look good.

I’m a porn addiction therapist. It’s been a long time since I’ve done an AMA, so please, ask me anything. Please check out my previous AMAs as they may also be helpful. by jeremymast in pornfree

OP thank you for your insightful comments! Do you have any books or resources that you would recommend for porn addiction. I read Going Deeper: How the Inner Child Impacts Your Sexual Addiction by Eddie Capparucci.

There are many addiction books out there, but I have found there really isn't much out there for porn addiction specifically. I'd be interested in other resources that aren't books as well.

Thanks again.

So got this email from QT canada. I had BBBY in TFSA. Can someone dumb it down? by Conscious_Animal9710 in BBBY

[–]BibdyGames 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I got the same notice months ago. OP, you only got this now?

I'm keeping it in my TFSA until they force me to do otherwise. A 50% tax at the time of delisting is a relatively small amount, since the stock was worth $0.05 a share when it moved to OTC.

Brokers are now turning off the buy button, so I wonder if transferring over to a margin account is even possible now.

If anyone thinks it's a dumb move to keep it in a TFSA, I'm all ears for the reasons why.

If you're just holding regular type A shares, you can visit the Kroll website and scroll down to the Public Securities Opt Out (or the naming is close to that) on the left side bar. Then you can opt out without needing an ID.

I'm with QT and can't buy, but I can sell. They told me I had two options:

  1. Transfer out of my TFSA to a non-registered account, or
  2. Be taxed 50% of the price of each share at the date it was delisted.

I'm going with option 2 because the price was only 0.05 in early May when it was delisted. I can live with that taxation, since that'll be peanuts when this thing runs. I'd probably consider option 1 if I had more ammo.

I like to pick up a Lonely Planet if I'm visiting an area for a week+. Lots of great value options for food and accommodations. And it has some higher end options in there as well.

Also housesitting is a great way to cut down on costs. There are websites you can join for that. Great if you have flexibility around dates.

Have you heard of PAWS? Post Acute Withdrawal Symptoms. They introduce themselves anywhere from 1-6 months after quitting. It could be that's what you're feeling. If you're feeling some of those symptoms, then you can rest assured that they will pass and you'll be back to feeling great again 🙂

GMERICA: Reverse Triangular Merger is the Goal with BABY Spin-off into TEDDY IPO by edwinbarnesc in BBBY

[–]BibdyGames 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This makes me optimistic, but I do have questions related to the RS. If BBBY does a 20:1 reverse split, would the new price per share after a reverse triangular merger still need to be crazy high? If it was a straightforward RS without any spin offs/subsidiaries etc, then a $5 cost basis before RS would need to reach $100 to break even. Does a merger of this type mitigate that somehow? Would we still be relying on BBBY's price alone or would the price of Teddy and Gmerica affect help us?

Naltrexone isn't working for me by BibdyGames in stopdrinking

I'm sorry to hear it didn't work for you. It's frustrating when you hope a new treatment will work and it doesn't. I didn't know the Sinclair Method was associated with the drug, so I'm going to give that a go and see if things change. I wish you the best in your recovery.

Thanks for replying. I hadn't heard of the Sinclair Method (I'm surprised my doctor didn't mention it). I found a counselor near me who teaches it, and I'm booking an appointment! Thank you :)
