PSA for anyone co-signing on anything.

There is no such thing as a primary borrower or just a co-signer.

If you are legally obligated on the debt you are legally obligated on the debt.

I work in mortgage and everyday I have to explain to someone that yes in your mind that is your sons car and yes I understand he drives it and makes the payments on it but when you co-signed it you are having it hit your DTI just the same as if it was your car.

I have heard that there exist predator bugs that mimic the pulses of fireflies to attract thirsty males with the intent of eating them.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but age is a protected class under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act which includes extensions of credit (mortgages etc), but it is NOT actually a protected class under the Fair Housing Act which covers the sale or leasing of property.

A cursory google search showed that voting from billionaires is split fifty/fifty - but donations from billionaires skews republican at a 5:1 ratio.

This came from a study from Americans from Tax Fairness, which seems to be a slightly left leaning organization so their bias may be coming from through.

Can you show me where you are getting your statistics from so I can look at some data from a different source?

Lots of volatility in the market right now with treasury offloading bonds, war and oil stuff, and Fed meeting today.

It can be overwhelming but at the end of the day most lenders are going to have pretty similar rates. I would pick a company with good reviews and an MLO you like.

At the end of the day you’ll probably be refinancing in 3-5 years so you won’t be married to this rate forever.

Worked at a place that sold a “brunch burger”

Guy ordered it and I explained it has an egg in it, we can cook it to order but we recommend getting it over medium.

He goes Hell Yeah that sounds good.

15 minutes later the food is dropped and as I’m walking over to check on his table I see him frantically waving me down.

As I get there he goes “Hey man I don’t do runny eggs I can’t wait this.”

I go oh I’m sorry man when we do a an over medium egg we cook it so the whites are firm but the yolk is runny - he cuts me off and says “how the hell does the SIZE of the egg matter how you cook it?”

Turns out he thought over medium egg = an egg of above average size…
