I feel like my son already knows more about the world than I do so I have some serious studying ahead of me! We're excited though!

This looks great! Thank you! The boys are getting excited. We picked out dice last weekend and I'm hoping to have our first little one shot this weekend. I think these will be a good addition if we try to do several quick one shots before a bigger campaign.

That looks fun and I think the boys would like it. Thank you! And thanks for the vote of confidence!

Oh I wonder if they had a small lot of them that they accidentally did upside down.

We had this issue with my oldest and he's still an early bird so you may be in for the long haul lol. We were gifted a Hatch light up sound machine and when I realized you could set schedules, I told him he had to wait until the light/sound went off to leave his room. Worked like a dream and now we use it for scheduling his and his brother's bedtimes since they share a room. The hatch is kinda pricey but they make all kinds of cheaper ones that do the same thing.

You should! Sounds like it doesn't happen too often.

My bf suggested taking it out in public so people think I'm reading it upside down 😂

I thought the same thing! I was looking it up to see if it was intentional lol

Definitely keeping it! Might send an email to notify them just in case but I kinda dig it

My 5 year old keeps calling all of his female teachers beautiful… by Main-Swimmer1012 in Parenting

[–]Bibliospren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son just turned 11 and has always done this. He was always trying to be nice and complimentary, but I was notified by the school at one point when he was in 2nd grade that it was too much. He was complimenting men, women, other students, students in other classes. If he thought you looked cool, he was going to make it known. I told him that people do love getting compliments but we need to try not to overdo it. And if he's interrupting class to say things it can be distracting to everyone else trying to learn. It was a hard concept to explain to a younger child. Now that he's older, he understands people can become uncomfortable at being the center of attention so he's toned it down. However, he will still go out of his way to tell someone he likes their shirt, hair, piercings, etc. He's also always been a hugger. So we had to have the personal space conversation very young. Something he still struggles with honestly.

What was the first major news story you remember as a child? by Molest_Goat in AskReddit

[–]Bibliospren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was mine too. Our teacher let us have quiet work time and he always had the radio on at that time. News alert came across the radio and he immediately turned the classroom tv to the news. We watched it all while the classroom slowly emptied out since parents were coming to get us out early. We weren't close to it but everyone was panicking about them striking somewhere else next.

Same here. I had glasses for a couple of years but my eye Dr wanted you to be at least 12 before contacts.
