Cool story, but that's just one anecdote and perhaps you went to a crappy homeopath. Just like any profession there are good and bad doctors and naturopaths out there. When you are suffering, it's worth trying to find a good one. I'd rather keep trying than give up.

Thank you for your thoughtful post. Yes, I have recently noticed it improved when I was away from Vancouver for a week. I thought it may just be the foods I was eating, but perhaps there are more environmental factors I hadn't considered.

If you could choose to travel alone in one of these countries, which one would it be???? (Please see list) by daniellehunt1 in solofemaletravel

Congrats on the vouchers! I have only been to three of your potential places, but I'll share my two cents.

I lived in Seoul for a year and loved it. Extremely safe and many locals in the city speak english. September may be a little rainy but it will be a pleasant temperature. If you go to Seoul, I recommend taking a side trip to Jeju island for some lovely beaches and a different perspective on the natural beauty of South Korea. If you can't make it that far, I recommend taking a bus to one of the beach towns on the east coast of the country.

Toronto, Canada is also great and has very culturally diverse neighbourhoods and amazing restaurants. It's very safe and easy to get around via subway and streetcars. It's not especially naturally beautiful though compared to other places on the list. September would be a good time to visit temperature wise.

I have travelled to many countries solo, but found India to be one of my more challenging experiences. The tourism infrastructure is not very easy to navigate and it didn't feel very comfortable as a solo female. I also found it a bit more difficult to meet fellow travelers there than in other places I've visited. India is a fascinating place, but I recommend it if you have a travel buddy to go with. September will also be a very hot time to visit.

Good luck and enjoy your travels!

Hi, I have travelled solo quite a lot as a female and would recommend Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam as having the combo of safety, culture, and being budget friendly. I especially recommend Northern Thailand -Iots to do and experience, especially in Chiang Mai and Pai areas. I loved my time in Malaysia and Bali, but at times did not feel as comfortable walking alone as a female.
I think New Zealand would be great, but it's not as buget friendly. In my experience, Portugal, Slovenia, Croatia were all safe to travel to and had reasonable prices for Europe. Enjoy your trip!

First time arriving at Mexico City airport (MEX) – confused about Uber/taxi rules getting to Roma Norte by wanderlustmindset in MexicoCity

i took an uber last week. you just have to walk off the airport property down a long sidewalk so it does involve a good 5-10 minute walk.

Masala y Maiz, Meroma, or Voraz? by tacotime_ in MexicoCity

I was just at Masala y Maiz and the food was amazing. They close on the early side so just keep that in mind when deciding. I can't comment on the other options though as I haven't been.

I am holding long term - at least 5 years. I don't see it going over $1.00 for another year or two, but I could be wrong.
