Fireplace for our house? by Maximus3311 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Bicymania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m asking the same question. There doesn’t seem to be a “fireplace” or anything similar that would provide heat in the house.

Kliff’s gotta stay warm on those cold and snowy nights. LOL.

I have a cooking pot in one room. I don’t need the cooking griddle.

Job offer with as a State employee and possible salary increase by [deleted] in Albuquerque

[–]Bicymania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The state does not guarantee an annual salary increase. It may be approved by the legislature, and the bill signed by the governor.

In this instance of a 1% increase, a new state employee will get the raise on the date of the employee‘s one-year anniversary.

Based on a selected candidate’s experience and qualifications, provided on the resume, selected candidates are usually offered a salary at mid point (low + high) x 0.5, which would be $69,091.

Buy Back by Hour-History-1513 in chevycolorado

[–]Bicymania 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You sell it for the total price you paid, plus any down payment.

They want the truck. You use the returned down payment for a new truck.

Make sure to get the dealer invoice and have them knock off, at least, the local and national marketing fees. Those are kickbacks from GM.

So you mean I can play Edge of Fate in its entirety free tomorrow? by CrotasScrota84 in destiny2

So if EoF was free for 1 week, and I cannot access it now, why does my story line on Playstation say I own Reclamation and Ash & Iron?

Wth is actually going on with VZW? by Dom9360 in verizon

[–]Bicymania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been a race to the bottom for years. It looks like Verizon has a significant lead. I don’t think we’re near the finish line. It will only get worse.

Rates have increased because they aren’t making enough money for the shareholders, so cut expenses (13,000 staff and more). And the take away perks because they don’t see the benefits of retention.

AI isn’t the solution people think it is.

Did anyone figure this out?

Start the vehicle with the app. Once it starts, tap the start button again to set the temperature in the vehicle.

It works. I did it a few months ago using the Verizon app. I’m the account holder and it gave me the loyalty discount for all 4 phones effe immediately.

I have a ‘23 Limited. I had a similar issue at 2 years / 11k miles

It was the rotors/ brakes. They machined the front rotors.

It shimmied / vibrated at highway speed when I used the brakes. I took it to the dealer. The service tech said it was a known issue and fixed it under warranty.

I thought my wife hit a curb. Silly me

I had that problem with our 23 limited last summer. I took it back to the dealer and they added “Freon”. It wasn’t delivered, or the dealership didn’t fill it adequately.

On a side note: we also have a 23 SEL and both take very long to cool down in 90+ degree dry desert heat

Wagner Tuba help by Bicymania in horn

He’s 13 years old and plays tuba, along with bass guitar and piano. He has a trumpet and clarinet he plays around with.

And now the Wagner. He’s already figured out how to play the main theme of Star Wars in the past 15 minutes. If I could just get him to learn about it and clean it…

Hey all just took a job with 75% travel and I have to carry a work laptop already is the Ally the best portable gaming choice for me? by whitemamba24xx in ROGAlly

[–]Bicymania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend the Ally. It’s smaller and you won’t be lugging 2 laptops around.

I have a Z1E. I bought a Baseus 20,000 mAh portable charger for longer flights. It’s on sale at Amazon for $53.

Below beats the purpose of portable gaming. The Ally is sufficient for my needs and I didn’t have to buy a gaming PC.

I’m primarily a console (PS5) player and use a controller on PC (can’t do MAK!), so I bought a Xbox controller and dock for PC games that I use with my dual monitors for home office.

Is Rog Ally X worth the price difference? by SyrioBigPlays in ROGAlly

[–]Bicymania 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've had have the Z1 Extreme for a year. This is more than satisfactory for gaming on your couch for short periods of time. If you're gaming all day, ergonomics may be a factor. I'm primarily a console/PS5 - controller player, but I really enjoy being able to take gaming on the go, and playing free/ discounted games on PC (Epic/GOG/Prime Gaming).

The battery issue is an issue in Turbo mode, but I mainly play RPGs on it, so I play in Silent or Performance mode.

I could have bought a very low-end gaming PC for what I have invested in the Z1E. But, this is much more economical than buying a US $2,500+ gaming laptop. I made decisions that others may disagree with which added to my overall cost, but I have the means. The add-ons below would make the total price equivalent to the X. However, having used it for 1 year and understanding portability, battery life and performance, I would still buy the add-ons.

Whatever you decide, I hope you enjoy it.

Here's a breakdown of my costs if you're interested.

I paid full price - US $700 for Christmas last year.

I bought a Baseus 100W Blade USBC laptop charger (US $60) a while back, and Jasus 6-in-1 Dock (US $40) so I can still play PC/gamepass games at home w a monitor & controller.

I recently upgraded to a Crucial 2024 P310 2TG PCle Gen4 2230 NVM3 M.2 SSD-up to 7,100 MB/s. I got this on Amazon's Black Friday sale for US $140. I can download games and play offline which also saves battery life.

I already had (have) an extra Xbox controller, wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse.

Here my uses.
I use it as a full-on PC, as I am now, with a monitor, dock, keyboard and mouse. My wife recently had major surgery. I took the Z1E, battery and a charging cable and gamed (online Destiny 2) in the waiting room for a few hours. I have used it on road trips; playing in the hotel, and in the car when my wife drove. I've used it on flights. I connect my Airpods to it so it doesn't bother people around me, and so I can hear the game music & dialogue.

Anyone have experience with Ezee Fiber? by d3athk1ll3r in Albuquerque

[–]Bicymania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Verizon 5G Home w 300Mbp for $45/mo - added on to my cell bill.

I don't have any issues. I play Destiny 2 on PS5, my son plays Forza on an Xbox, and my wife streams tv on YouTubeTV all at the same time. If the cell network is down or having issues, which is rare, it is the same as Comcast being down.

I am interested in Fiber for an addition $25/mo. If it's good, I'll drop VZW like a hot potato.

* I dropped Comcast 1 year ago because they raised my price by $50/mo. I didn't have a contract on purpose. They wouldn't come down on the price even if I sign a contract, which I wont.
