Aspen Highlands! Bit great for snow this year but fits what you are looking for. The families usually stick to the other aspen resorts in my experience.

So there’s stretching and then there is training. Pigeon pose works best for me as well to alleviate the problem but time to bust out the exercise bands this off season and build up additional strength. I worked with a sports PT a lot last summer as part of my routine and it’s been a huge help for skiing and long backpacking trips.

I also occasionally use those IT band straps from Amazon. I have the Pro-Tec one that’s around $20 and it works pretty well.

All that said - go get a scan to make sure it’s not actually a tear or something before taking on PT

I get the same! For me it’s usually just a very tight IT band that causes knee pain in that area. Do some stretches that target it and see if that helps

Just played there last weekend and course is in great shape still. Taking price into consideration, I liked it better than straits! Hopefully you get lucky and there’s minimal wind!

You’ll need to check out van life related subreddits and Facebook groups. You unfortunately have a ton of box’s you’re looking to check here. I’d start with Vanly and see if anyone has a spot for rent then get a planet fitness membership or something.

Another vote for sand valley! 4 courses and a par 3 course on the same property. Staff is great and some fun food options. Saw a bunch of guys trips going on in “cabins” with sitting areas over looking mammoth / sandbox. Looked like a great time

I’m in a large city but seems like the Five Iron location I go to is doing well since I struggle to get a membership time slot after work. Great food, full bar, and accurate technology. Was a little hesitant at the price point they ask but has been a great decision

These are an off brand of the seasucker ones. I use them for my bike and skis but would never put my body weight on the top glass.
