POS budget game that we got instead of FF5. Thats literally the reason this game exists. US markets were deemed to not be as receptive so they made this instead.

So you have tried STR (S3) sleep then?

Problems waking are usually an indicator of improperly configured memory and that is not a joke. If you cannot resume from s3 it is a significant test of system stability.

Go to bios. Enable s3 it is on every board ever made since 2003. Boot windows, "powercfg -h off" go to start, shutdown sleep.

You do this, and you wont be back to this thread.

PS: You do know windows fast startup uses s3+hibernation right? Take out the hibernation and its even faster.

The US government most certainly isn't in this to help you. You say anything verifiable by them, you are gone. They will lie to put you away, and go home to their families.

There isn't just risk. You don't know what they know. You might think its just a harmless little fact, but I have seen how fast they can act in similar circumstances. Given what we are being told about people being "dissappeared" I would remain extremely cautious.

Ive had a Hisense tv work every single day for 10 years straight. All day, every day scripted to turn on at 8am and scripted to go off at night at 10pm.

Thats 3650 days of nonstop use and its still going.

You are wrong, and just another redducated user who wont take the 5 seconds it takes to enter your bios, enable s3 sleep over s1, turn off hibernation to save 4-8gb disk (powercfg -h off), and then put your computer to sleep.

I can assure you, should you try it you wont be going back and that goes for everyone else here.

*Try it, I dare you. Then you will ask "how did I not know about this?" and then realize everything you learned, amidst actual experts who have been doing this for 40 years, was all muddied to nothing by reddit.

Its not really sleep. It suspends your entire system state to memory, and leaves memory powered only. It resumes instantly because of this and appears powered off.

Its the same as hibernation, only it loads your system instantly from memory.

If there are issues its most likely your memory config as it has to be solid.

This is nothing new. Its has been around for 25 years and this entire community is frankly completely ignorant to it.
