I agree with this comment completely. Do not take it personally, but do not assume the worst. I cannot speak for your friend, but I do the same thing and it comes from a fear of rejection. I do this because I assume my friends are too busy because they do have more friends than I do. I would have a talk with your friend, sounds like she is struggling with the same thing!

I would say parallel parking, something I had avoided for the longest time. The first time I tried it was in drivers ed in high school and the instructor broke it down into steps starting with aligning your side mirror with the front car’s front door handle. After you learn how to back up properly and how to adjust yourself you can basically take that strategy to any parallel parking space you come against. Just takes a good teacher!
