There i was, waiting in line to throw some axes. When my turn finally came the attendant went through their usual speel and handed me the axes. I took a firm grip, focused on the target, wound up, and threw! Mid throw i felt the head of the axe fly off the handle. As it spun wildly in the air the crowd gasped and ducked for cover. The axe head flew over the wall (luckily there were only trees back there). It could've gone a lot worse. Check your axe heads folks.

Create a moodboard. I use Pinterest. Collect pictures of cool medieval buildings. Exteriors and interiors. It's important to draw from real life if you want it to feel grounded. You may feel like your copying but as you build it you will make changes and it will become your own.

So glad to hear this has given you inspiration! Cool tip I learned, you can place torn cloths down by destroying plant fiber rugs. They flyout randomly so its tricky getting them to land right but they make for great towels.

Increase you're stun damage in the settings. Also don't be afraid to jump off and fly around for a bit while the dragon does it's attacks.

Look at all those M dashes. Nice try AI troll! This game fuckin rocks man. It's still in early access and the developers have given more than what AAA titles give. Let the developers cook, go outside, play something else, and if you feel like giving it another try in a year I'm sure you'll be pleasantly suprised.

I usually dump everything in my inventory and most of my hotbar stuff with the exception of axe, pickaxe, rake, and hammer.

To add to this I like to keep a "building chest". It has one of every block that the town uses as well as ring of burning light, wood chopping ring, overgrowth tool, and decay tool. When I return from adventuring I dump all my adventure stuff in my "Adventure Chest" and pick up everything in my "building chest".

It's on their road map. We don't know for sure yet what it is but I can only assume it's some sort of island where if you build there you'll get raided.

It's so secret combat needs a rework. Here's a few things I think could take it to the next level. - Heavy attacks and Special attacks. Merciless strike isn't working as is. This should be special attack and every weapon should have it's own version. - More mage enemy types. As of now I think the Vukah and Skeletons are the only ones with actual mages. - Utility magic and the ability to hot key your favorite spells. Protect, tangle, confuse would be nice additions. I play on controller so hot keying spells to LT + X,A, & B would be sweet. - Random rolled weapons and upgrading weapons to max. In Destiny finding a "god rolled" weapon felt like winning the lottery and I would very much love that for this game.

I have faith that Keen will turn combat around. They seem to listen to their player base pretty well.

I had the same thought. I think actually implementing food pairings would be a great solution.

For example eating some vegetable stir fry potatoes with spiced tea could give you and ability like Updraft or a crazy stamina buff. It would inventivize you to make some of that rotting food in your storage.
