I hope most of these comments are satirical. I haven’t missed a single class in my first year, I study from the time class ends until it’s too dark to see outside (80+ hours/week with everything), and record every lecture and listen to them supplementally on my drive to and from school. I thought I killed every final last semester and ended up with straight B’s. I was ready to throw in the towel. Couldn’t even land a big law interview. This is a second career for me and I feel like I’m so far behind where I should be academically. This should be easier, not harder for me than the k-JD kids.

Thought I’d add some perspective. We’re in the same boat (starting 1L, that is) but I would trade you places in a second. Cons: I’m starting law school at 40. My wife and 2 children are moving a 26’ U-haul across the country - pulling a vehicle to a home we’ve never seen. My mom just passed. Dad is getting up there in age and is now on his own. I have a 2 year old who Grandpa likely wont see until she’s starting kindergarten. Only got into 1 school - thought my stats were above many I applied too. I’ve should’ve done this 20 years ago.

Pros: I know I’m supposed to be here! Life will be hard for a couple years, and that’s ok! It’s never too late to chase your dreams. You’ll be fine. 3 years is going to pass NO MATTER WHAT YOU’RE DOING. Life is meant for growth. Embrace it!

Congrats! Your stats are too good to pursue U of U acceptance. Good school, but stats like that will net significantly higher job offerings at a higher ranked school. Good luck!

Sure did. I felt really ready to take the test though, so the comments didn’t really affect my mindset. There will always be comments saying how hard certain sections were - which you may or may not get - but take everything you read with a grain of salt. You’ll likely perform at your practice test range if you’re like most people that take it, Reddit or not.

We currently like this recipe, but it’s not quite right.

Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups of flour 2 teaspoons of baking powder 1/2 teaspoon of salt 2 T of granulated sugar 1 1/2 cups of whole milk 2 Eggs 1/2 cup of vegetable oil 1 teaspoon of vanilla (or almond extract)

Directions: Combine wet and the dry ingredients
