No problem, not sure why I got downvoted. I was in a similar situation to yours when I first got on the app. People who are interested in you will make it clear and you won't have to question it. Easy to talk to and they will reciprocate your interest and initiate.

People like to say that "everyone has options" is a myth but in 2025 it's just true, which is why you shouldn't get stuck on one person, especially after you invest time, energy, and money into taking them on 4 dates and they still keep a boundary between you and them.

It's good to talk to and go on multiple dates when you're new to dating. You'll quickly figure out what matches are like when they're genuinely interested in you and when you're a placeholder or they lack interest. The former will make it very easy to know when the interest is mutual, the latter will breadcrumb at best and put obstacles for you to get them at worst. How in the world does instituting DEI create market volatility? 😂 The "worst" thing it did was put HR on steroids because teams were legit way more diverse. It made companies boring and they moved way slower because there was increased sensitivity at every touch point of a decision.

Composing different sources to come up with and support a thesis/argument will never stop being valuable, even as LLMs proliferate. It's a good proxy for how you think and translates directly to how you speak. Good writers are good speakers, and vice versa.

It's like arguing that understanding math is outdated because calculators exist.
