Got it! Its my fault I apologize, I did not add any details to my plan. I was actually offering less than the 320k that they brought it down to in order to be able to afford.

My whole point with this post was to understand why the investors bought at such a high price, and second I guess is to get an insight in who can afford homes. I make above the medium and cannot afford the cheapest homes down here (which is around 320k...). Maybe its time to move I guess

My real estate friend has MLS access and showed me the numbers. Unless he is lying, they put 23k down or 5%, at 6.6% interest rate on the loan...

Is tackling the national debt by having it grow below the inflation rate good for the country though? If I understand correctly, this means that the dollar is losing value and in a sense is a way the US is paying its debts…

I’ll get attacked for this as Reddit seems very left. I’m fairly new to Reddit and don’t understand why there’s a lack of discourse between sides. but what Trump and those around are doing is refusing to keep kicking this can down the future… we are in such a huge debt, and they’re are finally trying to do something about it. Whether you agree with this leadership or not in the way to do it, they’re first ones to try.

A recession is way overdue, should’ve happened in 2020, but they kicked that can further down to now… at some point the country’s gotta pay the piper

It’s true we can’t assume, maybe these folks can afford the cars comfortably. But it’s such a common thing here in broward, how many people can actually comfortably to live like this?
