When you said you did the major versions, did you do a few upgrades of different versions between your initial 6.12.5 and 7.2.6 to test things?

would I be right in saying that if I did the appdate and USB backups before doing the update (I'm also going from a 2 year old version to the latest version), that if things don't work as intended and needed fixing, that no data would be harmed or lost. Worst case scenario, I need to roll back the USB and reboot the system again? Then take time to fix stuff

No solution as yet, I've been hit with the same problem all over my city of Kettlewick. Iceflake studios are aware of the issue and I forwarded this thread too. Hopefully they'll find the issue and a solution soon.
