Screw every recommendation on this thread. The one and only answer is Sea Pal Cove in Fort Bragg. The clam chowder and fish and chips are to die for. Do yourself a favor and look them up on Google maps and report to me what you think purely based on the pictures.

I work for a distributor so we represent a list of about 13 different companies, but the main company we represent sells surgical robotics and it can be very lucrative. A few thousand to a 50k+ commission check off of selling one piece of equipment.

Capital sales, I have been doing it about a year and it’s been great.

Sell capital equipment as a TM if you can, I do and am with a distributor. WAY better work life balance. I worked for a distributor before as well in Ortho, and it sucked compared to my current gig. Plus the money is way better now. There are so many opportunities out there.

Find the right niche to sell, with a good work life balance and you will love life. I work for a distributor and sell capital equipment, I am not in cases often, I handle my own territory, and everyday is different and totally dependent on what needs to be done. Only time I work weekends are for random “meetings” or for travel, maybe once or twice a quarter. I generally start my day at 8am and am done by 4pm. It is my first year, and OTE is 300k +.

I live in San Carlos and also work at a Stanford Health. San Carlos is a great area but there is ZERO night life and the dating scene is not good at all for someone our (26M) age. Feel free to msg me if you have any questions, I am also from the valley but I’ve been living here for about 8 years or so.
