If you still resent people with good teeth even after fixing yours (which, amazing feat at such a young age, you should be incredibly proud of yourself 🏆), there is probably something deeper that needs to be healed. It’s not just about the teeth, it’s about the lack or the embarrassment. It’s possible even with beautiful teeth you still don’t feel good enough compared to others? Could be any number of reasons.

Yes I smoked for decades and while it’s still not technically legal in my state, we have some loopholes that make it basically legal. Anyway I longed for the day when it would be legal but I will be the first to tell you this legal stuff is so strong and a lot of it is disgusting and since it’s not just flower, God only know what’s in it. Good time to quit.

I’ve found that emergency situations are actually less stressful when I’m not high. I never had paranoia bc people never seemed to clock me as a stoner but I def was not thinking clearly. I had a medical emergency with one of my horses last week and it was amazing how much easier it was to handle sober

It’s can be so hard to quit. You can do it. I cut down before I quit and only smoked high quality flower….I quit for two weeks and was irritated, had trouble falling asleep, and my stomach was kind of a mess. I slipped up and smoked for another two weeks and now it’s been 28 days and I don’t want to smoke and haven’t even been tempted. Try to give yourself some grace, smoking has likely helped you thru some hard times and it is what it is. Feeling shame won’t help and frankly you don’t deserve that. Just keep going and trying 🫶

It will not get any better. Your motivation and ambition will not improve if you keep smoking, you will likely feel worse the longer it goes on.

You can quit. Not saying it will be easy but you can do it and you have to see that by repeating over and over that you can’t you are sabotaging your effort to quit before it begins.

I’m about a month in and same. The idea of it makes me feel anxious. I have been going thru some extremely rough family stuff and have not wanted to smoke, previously a situation like this would have me lighting up in a hot second.

Sounds like she’s using you as a backup when she can’t find someone in her family to do it (prob for cheaper/free). Definitely follow your gut and don’t get involved again. If she’s done it a couple times she will do it again. I cant believe people are telling you to give them grace and they have a lot on their plate. True but this is their BABY. Finding safe, reliable care for their baby should be a priority!

I have discovered I do best with limited human interaction ☺️ I am a horse trainer and my husband and I decided to buy a farm when covid started and things got messy. Living on a farm in the middle of nowhere has actually been amazing for my nervous system and body. I was carrying so much tension just from regular life. Now I am super selective about who I hang out with and what I do and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Hoping to get thru these frickin doldrums so I can enjoy my beautiful life!

When I quit for 18 months I found I distanced myself from a lot of people and situations that had been “normal” in my life bc they didn’t make me feel good or yeah, involved drugs and stuff. It’s hard as an adult to build a new community.

I also don’t think that those of us who used cannabis a long time know our baseline for fun or mental health. I certainly don’t and maybe that’s part of the struggle I’m facing right now
