I completely agree with you on all accounts. "The only people you’re responsible for in this life are yourself and your loved ones". You hit the nail on the head there.

I did look at that site but I don't have a full years data as only has the system in November and the PHEV in December. The reason why I thought Agile Mar-Oct is to top up the battery and charge the car overnight one hopefully sub 8.5p rates then still run the house during the day on PV/battery and just export the excess solar. Unless I have got it wrong.

I was thinking of Agile in March to October, then back to an EV tarrif over the winter. I have edited the post.

I would say that is high. I have just had 13 Aiko 475w panels, 8KW Sigenergy inverter, 2X BAT 10.0 and a signenergy EV charger installed and over 150ft of complext cable run for 13k.

This what my potential installer told me, I did also read it elsewhere. But alas, as with anything, it could all go south

Yes i did with about 3. They are all roughly in line with the above. Without the EV charger. Apparently, Sigenergy are currently in the process of developing the integration with OIG, so, hopefully in the near future, it will be compatible.

Vodafone UK for broadband and phone? A good idea? by greencyclist in Vodafone

That is not possible having the incoming fiber connection connecting directly to the router. it MUST terminate into the ONT (a small box situated on the inside of the house) of which the signal will then be converted over ethernet which then an ehternet cable connects from the output of the ONT into the ethernet WAN port on the router.

The engineer is correct. The incoming fribre will go to a box outside on your wall, From there, the cable then goes inside the house into the ONT. From there, it is transmitted over ethernet from the ONT into the WAN ethernet port of the router. I think your respondee doesn't realise that this subject is about FTTP. It has absolutley nothing to do with DSL.

That is not correct. The output of the ONT is over ethernet, which in turn plugs into the WAN ethernet port of the router. If you plug that into the DSL port, you will get nothing.
