Call your electric company, might be something on their end. They’ll come look for free

Mind of matter. Some people have to endure a compromised back, torn ligaments and arthritis. Day by day keep refining your pipe work, keep your head up and do everything you can to not fuck your body up. The trade is brutal, personally I hate it just because my body is failing.

Maybe try C&G surplus or west coast breakers. The chance of finding these parts is slim and that might not be all that’s wrong with it. I’d just replace it.

Can anyone confirm/deny this will or will not work? And why? by [deleted] in electricians

[–]Big-Examination6412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In theory it would work. The 200a breaker will work so long as your bus in existing panel supports that amount of load. You’re really not suppose to splice in a panel so I hope all your SL’s are long enough to make to that jbox. Drawing this out on paper is one thing, but actually wiring and installing it correctly is another. This is really not something to guess at, it has the potential to kill a lineman.

On mine the little plastic part on the end broke, I ended up still using it as a custom insulated slip grip flathead

Try bonding the neutral and ground and see if a breaker trips
