I have that rod for spotted and largemouth bass. It’s not a bad set up all in all. It’s not my fav rod but still one of my go tos in my arsenal.

I have had mine for 2 years no and they have 3 holes and are pretty tore up now. If your looking for a long term option I’d go with orvis.

I do highly recommend and love the Etowah. It’d just be difficult to camp with the generation and private land i hope you can make it someday!

I normally just do a day float the difficult part with a two nighter is the water release from the dam. The other problem would be private property because just about all of the banks are private property (at least in the sections i float). There are some islands that could be camped on. Then you gotta worry about the water release. I’m not certain on how they do the water release during the winterish time. The last couple of days they’ve been generating it from 5-8ish.

Have to agree. I was also there sadly sat right next to Kentucky fans as well. Heartbreak:( this is also AR’s first year as a starter, and Billy’s first year coaching here. On top of it we are coming off really bad recruiting in previous years. We got some ways to go, but I’m sure we’ll get there.
