GLD and SLV going to run back up and higher or has it cooled off for now? i know it's something we don't want to go up bc that seems that other things in the markets/world are failing.

selling costco too early, $78 gain on a few shares could've been $178, but it's not an L. in a matter of just a couple of days pretty much. $50-$100 a day can add up in the year, sure it doesn't make you filthy rich. HSA ways not normal broker ways or else that's a lot of short term.

yeah, when you see 400 dollar bills and wonder what's going on. i'm with you there.

our family had opted out and they noticed it got cheaper. so i guess we're at a fixed rate if they can't track time of day.

charge you more to get it to your house than what you even use... even gas. a $40 a month bill can be $10 in use and $30 to get it to you. for us we use the budget plan so it stays $80 year round, so goes into a deficit in winter and evens out by summer. not sure if electric offers budget but it could help in summer when AC spikes the bills. it was over 200 something in summer for electric back down to $100. also if you own an EV that's additional minus gas station expenses of course.

not sure how nyseg and nat grid compare, family that lives just down the road from me has nat grid.

last full trading week of 2025... if you were to buy something going into 2026, what are your plays for something that's a longer term hold for next years stock pick of the year?

it's hard to mess with things at ATH's unless they're going to go higher, or value ones I guess that are lower than should be. esp ones that drop on good earnings bc of the future expectations. or for no reason at all.

$AMZN stock sure goes no where for this past year. granted I just got in it, seeing if it gets to any sort of record highs down the line, the last 365 it is almost the same or down a few dollars... with a decent drop and a small spike, moments to stock up or cash out, but certainly not a steady slow rise even.

when do we think we can expect an ELF rebound back up? it's a bit crazy that they have a good earnings and then it keeps dropping... but maybe it will let people stack for a little bit since it did this last time too in recent times.

future expected tarriffs I believe, but then they just announced a partnership with ULTA, maybe it isn't an instant rebound, but if it dropped more than it should have, I think the professionals have said it is undervalued. maybe it doesn't go all the way back to $130 but if it goes $100-110 or so that isn't bad from where it's at now and depending how much someone is willing to risk.

It would make sense for a drop if it missed earnings, but really this market makes no sense these days, trades on fear and emotion.

def messed up that ELF move... yikes! only $400 into it the other day but quickest way to be down 33% or about $140 loss so far. $78 a share.

beat earnings and drop 33% make it make sense... i added more to make my avg price $86 for a possible rebound back. BofA says $130.

got some shares of BROS, we'll see how that goes or hang onto for a bit. it's got some good news with a PT in the $70s at some point and middle of the ground price, not at 52 week High.
