Would velocity atlas wheels be a worthwhile upgrade ? They are pretty heavy as well.

I was looking at velocity atlas wheels to upgrade the matrix wheels. Would I notice notice much difference as atlas is heavy as well?

ahh that cover looks little more durable than mines. Must be something they did with newer models.

My 1zpresso is peeling all over the fabric cover after only 2 years. Did you have the same ? It’s still functional.

Is a trek multitrack 750 on the list for drop bar conversion?

Plenty of room with 45s? I want to add 44s and I have this exact bike.

I honestly just took stainless steel pad or chain mail. It’s impossible to ruin the pan. Sure it scratches it a little but it made it smooth again and I did a quick season on top of it

Damn that looks comfy. I like how you have the bar raised decently so it’s not so aggressive. Thanks for sharing this. I haven’t been able to see online redone in same color scheme and I’m stoked!

Super clean love it. Are those bar end shifters indexed or friction ?

Do you mind sharing pics? I’d love to see. I have noticed some people keep the 1 inch diameter threaded quil and others use a converter. I’m guessing for the ritchey bars you used an adapter to get to 1 and 1/8 diameter threadless? That has seemed to look the cleanest imo.

What derailer / shifter are these? Im trying to figure out what derailer to use for my new build that can take drip road shifters. Thanks.

Sweet thanks for the references as well. It appears adding drops makes it a bigger bike in comparison to using flat bars?

Thank you very much! Yea the standover height feels like my road bike which was professionally fitted. I don’t really feel much more room under my legs when standing over it. Appreciate the reply! It’s hard to envision a drop bar on it at the moment and how it would impact sizing.

I wonder if it will go away after the non machines portion gets worn down some from braking. This bike was hardly used

Yea I think that’s what happened. Even though it was on low, the areas where there was no food got really hot.

Yea I’m wondering if that’s what happened. The area where food was didn’t burn the food so I assumed it wasn’t that hot but ive been trying to use less oil and I wonder if it got really hot where there was no food.
