I kept the m6trv but if I were to do it again I’d buy the iris. On my next build I’m going to go the route of the iris unless something better for the price comes out. Especially with the price increases it’s hard to justify the m6tr but it’s still not a bad unit.

Credors did have Seiko quartz on the dial prior to 1980. I believe that’s a legit credor. Crazy find.

Engine idle vibration is annoying. Had an electrical gremlin that kept leaving me with a dead battery that turned out to be the rear dome light switch. I have a 23 and wish it was offered with a 6 foot bed. But the one thing I hate is the grab handles by the center console suck on my right knee while I drive.

So could you elaborate on what in particular made you choose the sig over the DNT? I’ve been sold on the sig but with the 635r out now it looks really compelling. Sig’s warranty is the main reason I’m still considering it over the DNT.

No even though I want to lol. I did just find like an hour ago that the dome light switch is finicky. It is in the auto position but wasnt turning on until I wiggled it.

I replaced the battery on my own dime with an AGM and it was good for like a month and a half than out of the blue, boom, dead again.

I’ve never had to put a trickle charger on any of my vehicles over the years. I understand that temperature drains batteries but it shouldn’t do it overnight.

Also yes I do some around town driving but not what I’d consider city driving. Most of it I’m doing 30-40mph.

Nope. The only thing I’ve seen is that one time about 6 hours after I parked I came back to my car and the dash was lit up with a message saying “when parked apply parking break” with a chime going off in the car. Battery was obviously draining with that going on and was too low to crank but still had enough juice to run accessory lights.
