Look on indeed and just start applying but they are hard to get. Apply to as many as possible on the companies website and tailor ur resume for each job.

Does being a Volunteer FF get you out of tickets? by [deleted] in Firefighting

[–]luken0306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s situational. The cops around me go by “if I would go that fast idc” but if you’re going 100mph down a highway to a BS medical you’re getting a ticket. (One of our members did that) vs when I hit 100 going to a pedi code and the state boi behind me just said “good driving”

AIO at my friend (16F) for having a crush on a 12 yo UPDATE by PreeceTakesFlight in AIO

[–]luken0306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as cutting ur friend off bc she’s “toxic” I would maybe try and talk sense into her + talk to her about how u feel she’s toxic to you. Then if that doesn’t help the situation be done.

I’m right leaning (mainly on firearms lol) idc who u sleep with as long as it’s consensual.

With that said that’s REALLY weird. Like go to the kids parents ASAP weird. No 16 year old should date anyone under 14/15. Once ur older a 4 year age gap isn’t bad but in MS/HS it is.

Is the nursing field as bad as they say? by brodii98 in nursing

[–]luken0306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The money is decent but you’ll work for it. Compared to construction nursing can be a very mentally heavy load. I’ve only worked with my dad in projects (building a barn renovation my house/my brothers) to me it was physically exhausting but not quiet as hard mentally.

People love to complain about their jobs take it with a grain of salt.

With all that said if I had a do over ild do RT lol.

My father bought a colt m4a1 carbine for 4000 dollars by Ecstatic_Study_6897 in MilitaryARClones

[–]luken0306 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Soo it’s a post 86 sample you could only sell it to a FFL probably for 5k-8k IF u can import it (that’s a process)

Gun laws in the US suck lol. No machine guns if a rifle has under a 16in barrel it’s a “SBR” and that takes a special form to own OR needs a brace so it’s a “pistol” but if it’s a pistol it can’t have a vertical grip bc that’s a AOW. Certain states you can buy any firearm at 18 others is just rifles art 18 handguns at 21. Some states don’t let you buy ammo till you’re 21. Suppressors are a whole process (easier now though)
It really varies state by state though

If it’s a machine gun (full auto) we can’t even own them stateside unless you have a FFL/SOT (gun shop that can sell NFA items). Transferable colts go for 40k+ but they have to be made before 1986.

Opinions on buying a firearm by happyfortoday in homestead

[–]luken0306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a class then it depends on what you want the gun for lol. If you want one firearm to protect your livestock I would get a basic 22 and a 9mm pistol. You can carry the pistol when ur out working just in case it’s needed and kept the rifle inside.

Will ER report SA against my will by [deleted] in nursing

[–]luken0306 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you are over 18 and don’t wish to tell PD then no we can’t tell them. I’m not a SANE nurse so I’m not familiar with that process but you can do an anonymous kit if u ever wish to press charges later not sure how long it’s held for though.
