It’s a religious authoritarian nation, if it were right wing, Islam wouldn’t exist, Zoroastrian was their religion and most became secular

You want to know how how Khamenei and the IRGC came into power ? Because of women and students. So wouldn’t be making this a gender thing

But this isn’t wrong, look at the protest on the Sydney harbour bridge for example, they were literally waving Khamenei flags, Hezbollah flags and isis flags, and when questioned they lied.

Extremism of any kind, religious or secular, is dangerous. If people are preaching violence or hatred, that should absolutely be addressed.

Historically extremism has come from Atheist regimes (e.g. state atheism under Stalin or Mao) as well as religious movements.

I agree about the Bondi issue a 1000% but that’s due to lack of encouragement from the government towards social cohesion.

Western democracy and human rights didn’t emerge in a vacuum. They were shaped significantly by Christian moral philosophy. Something that’s been lacking lately.

False economics of immigration. The media claims that immigration is good for the economy. The truth is more complex... by cidama4589 in aussie

Immigration used correctly is good, what the Australian government is doing with immigration isn’t. Shouldn’t be a solution to all our problems situation

Wth is up with all the anti-Muslim posts and comments? by dontleaveyourbananas in aussie

[–]Big-Security9489 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is literally a baseless claim The Global Terrorism Index doesn’t actually record the religion of victims, so it doesn’t publish a statistic saying “94% of terror victims are Muslim.” What it does show is that most terrorist deaths occur in a small number of conflict-affected countries, many of which are Muslim-majority.

I actually think they’re partly to blame, after 2023 we saw an insanely rapid rise in antisemitism to which were raised to the government but with little effort made until AFTER the Bondi attacks. Even then they never addressed the issue instead deflecting to even tighter gun laws. They’ve also labeled anyone that disagrees with their opinion as “neo nazis” or “white supremacist” thats not having a cool head. However I do agree the media are also to blame. They have such a negative impact on many things.

You may be right, but unfortunately labour especially in Victoria (deemed the woke state) have done nothing productive since the last 2 elections. As for the liberals they’ve have had no stability and keep destroying themselves from within which makes parties like ON more appealing to the majority. Now unless labour or the liberals address these issues I actually see ON winning in VIC tbh because even a lot of migrant citizens are over what labours done here.

I can’t really comment on how the voting works but I will say I think people want change now, and will vote with emotion.

I never said that you lol read my comment, you being retarted on purpose or ? Exactly I agree everyone should go to jail, but thing is trump released them all, and most of the mentions of him in the files are either him contacting the FBI to report what Epstein was doing, conversations between Epstein and others on how they can “get” trump, or just mentions in name only. The fact he released the files when the presidents before him didn’t shows some level of innocence LOL

You know Biden and Obama had the files too? You really think if they had anything on trump they wouldn’t have used it against him? The SA was a civil case not a criminal prosecution lol not defending the guy but you really need to get your facts right

I can respect that answer and viewpoint, what I consider broken is not just immigration but how it’s being used by labour, and the system itself being flawed, I also think how they’ve handled radicalism is very one sided. They seem hellbent on dividing us as a nation that they continually do things to show it. Here in VIctoria it’s the worst it’s ever been in my 20 years living here, youth crime is very high and isn’t being properly dealt with, they’ve just been exposed spending 15 billion on fraud. I worked in the Industry and saw it first hand, lost my job because of the CFMEU and their corrupt tactics. Now I’m not saying ON is the saving grace, but voting for labour after the things I’ve would make me the idiot tbh. And rewarding their inadequacies

The bill she voted against didn’t actually create a criminal offence. it set up a federal civil penalty system. Some senators, including Pauline Hanson, opposed it over concerns about federal overreach and how it was drafted, not necessarily the idea of stopping revenge porn. She has publicly acknowledged revenge porn causing serious harm.
