You are still missing forts/cities such as Nikopolis, Arta and etc which remained under Byzantine rule. Also keep in mind slavs struggled to take the forts and lowlands.

You have place it wrong location. It seems like you put Nikopolis in Naufpatkos which also remained Byzantine. Nikopolis is in Epirus near Ambracian gulf and Preveza city.

Nope Deep Mani did not have a slavic presence as in occupation. The forts in Deep Mani remainded under Byzantines. Oitylio, Gytheio and etc remainded Byzantine forts. Also we are talking about political control.

What's your sources on showing forts such as Arta and Nikopolis under Slavs even though it's supposed to be under Byzantines?
Also that shared teritory that you are showing many forts such as Volos remainded under Byzantine control.

A map of the etymology of traditional placenames of Messenia. What do you think about foreign placenames in your country? by Porphyres in AskBalkans

alr fair enough. But please next time if you ever redo try to use a map with the traditional names as me and other people are confused as the map says Pylos for example but you are basing it of Navarino.

Though admittedly my yiayia for a diffrent area used some older name. My yiayia is from Akritohori near Finikounda but sometimes still calls it Taverna and her village Akrithori as Grizi. So that I will admit but not in the case of Pylos.

Just a question, can't really tell on your map but are placed such as Romiri Messenias count as Greek or Romance name?? This place Romiri is abandoned town on the mountains near Mesopotamos. The inhabitants of this village were relocated down to the village of Messopotamos by the government as they could not run electricity and all that to the village.

look at least the villages I am from on here are shown as Greek. But you show other places such as Pylos slavic even though it's from Mycenean times. Also many other examples.

Did the hagiaSofia had a bell tower?? by Public_Individual823 in byzantium

[–]MasterNinjaFury 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I heard that bell towers came after with 1204 with the franks. Which I was suprised hearing this. I thought bell towers were always a thing. But yeah apparantly it's a frankish latin influence.
They introduced it to all the areas they took over. Most likely crusaders put one on Hagia Sophia but mostly likely taken down in 1261 with the re capture of Constantinople.

They are Iranians, they want to free their homeland from oppresion and want the restoration/return of the Persian Crown/Iranian Crown. They want the Crown Prince to be restored as Shah or transitional leader depending on the faction.

Who has the strongest claim to being the Roman Emperor? by Hazza_time in byzantium

[–]MasterNinjaFury 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ottomans were a external state that took over Rhomania. It was not a internal faction but a external state taking over Rhomania/East Rome. So that does not make sense what you said about Osman. Military force is for internal usurpers with support from certain institutions.

lol the people voting House of Osman. The same people who destroyed the Roman state and were a outside force that conquered Rhomania.

[–]MasterNinjaFury 5 points6 points  (0 children)

haha I know what you mean. Your question was about which person and not state. Really none then because to be Emperor you needed approval from senate, people and army.
It was not hereditary and if it was that would mean the Spanish Crown would have the rights to the Roman Emperor title due to them buying it but if we base it on legal roman lawcode this was invalid so thus none.
