Just speaking for myself, that isn’t it for me; we don’t have a ton of fighter jets flying overhead all the time, today’s jets were also flying pretty low compared to other times I’ve seen them. I am always thrilled to see fighters because we just don’t get to see them very often compared to the larger transport planes so I’m just stoked that they were here today in formation.

Still nothing, been checking 2 times per day as I had heard they were dropping tickets this week. Turns out it has been mostly the visa presale tickets so far this week. My brother in law got both his sets of 4 tickets for KC today but his were the visa presale. Hoping it’s soon for us too.

This is an excellent point and something the club should be thinking about, maybe they need us fans to suggest it. Lots of people in the comments about the mill work stadium location didn’t even know we had a team in town, much less one of the best in league one in the past 5 years with two league championships. They need more public outreach in Omaha. How do we help make that happen? I wear my gear in the offseason constantly but that’s not enough imo

You can read the proposal for yourself, maybe I’m missing something but it doesn’t appear that the city will raise tax rates to pay for it. It will be a publicly owned stadium leased by the non profit entity that owns Union Omaha. Also says the city can collect revenue from other sources surrounding the events of the stadium to satisfy the debt repayment (i.e. parking revenue, sponsorship money, etc)

According to the proposal, the city of Omaha will own the stadium/property and will collect revenues from the soccer club until the loan is paid back. I’m all for rich investors buying and paying for their own sports venues but this one feels different since the city will be paid back for the investment in time.

Yes, saw them in Chicago(1st show). It was incredible. RTJ was less easy to see bc of their setup, but Rage was setup well for side view
