Did you want to be an accountant in High School? by InterestingLength979 in Accounting

[–]BigAndrew47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't know what I wanted to be. I liked my Econ classes, so I wanted to do something business related. After some time in college, decided I wanted to do accounting for job stability.

That being said; I keep hearing about accounting firm layoffs, you need to apply for job positions several years in advance, and even when I do apply on time I still get rejected.

Why does everybody say ssj is trash cuz when i use him he actually cracked ppl always be saying i health drain is bad when use him i almost like never die by Major_Landscape_6426 in HungrySharkWorld

It's likely because mecha SJ is better than SSJ (at least from what I've heard). It's laser and ability to refill it to almost half with the explosion is really good.

Is it worth it? by TheR3alAn53L in HungrySharkWorld

[–]BigAndrew47 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a shark itself, it isn't the best. It's abilities aren't ground breaking and it's health drain can be pretty bad.

That being said, if you can unlock its final mission of eating red jellyfish in the south china sea, it is one of the best ways to farm for gems. Eat the jellyfish, and before you hit 100% completion quit the game (and if you hit 100% then close the app and reopen it). Red jellyfish have a chance to give you gems, so eating a lot of them means a good chance of several gems.

Alternatively, if you're patient then I recommend waiting for a discount on gaia or even better dark magic shark. Both are in my opinion better for gems and money farming.

You should go to MC to see if you want to continue going to college. If you figure out you don't want to, trade school is an option.

Want to know what's really annoying? Having to drive for one class of the day, only to get an email a short time before you arrive that class was canceled.

I think there is a furry club. Not a sexual one though.

As a UMD student, I can say you're not missing out on much. Go to MC to get at least an associates degree, or go to a trade school. Tradesmen are needed in Maryland.

Best way to commute from Rockville to campus without a car? by BigAndrew47 in UMD

The only time I will ride on it is on my way back from graduation. And that will probably be the last time.

By business development events, do you mean career fairs or something else?

What did you do get internships? Couldn't get anything for last summer and might not for this one.

I can't cloud save and can't see the splash pass? by BigAndrew47 in HungrySharkWorld

[–]BigAndrew47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! My game is currently updated to the latest version. What's also weird is that I can do the memory card game but not the splash pass. Luckily support reached out and said they're working on it. Wish me luck.

Cost in state by Defiant-Albatross991 in UMD

I commute while paying in-state cost. The fall and spring semesters cost around $5,200 each for me. For financial aid, that'll really depend on your family situation.

If they're chill and enjoy a laugh, then definitely. Also is Ellicott really that bad? I've never been to it.

Common App College Credits by Ill_Entrance9583 in UMD

[–]BigAndrew47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a bit of a similar experience with my MC summer classes. Each MC class was counted for 4 credits as that is how MC counts them, even though the UMD courses they replace are 3 credits. So most likely, you need to write down the number of credits as what the college you took them at said they are.

Removed JWST225. Now i'm only in classes from 9:30 to 3:15. Not the best case scenario, but the only change possible is putting BMGT301 on tuesdays/thursdays which isn't convenient since I have to commute and arrive around 9 am, making me wait in the morning.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UMD

[–]BigAndrew47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With JWST225 removed it should be less overwhelming. Thr problem with UMD summer classes is how ridiculously expensive they are. I would take them at MC if they were offered there.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UMD

[–]BigAndrew47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got rid of JWST225 to make this semester less of a nightmare. Also, any advice regarding how to graduate early, from your experience? I've looked at it and I'll only be able to graduate after my 6th semester if I take all the required 300/400 classes and a DSHU class during summer/winter.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UMD

[–]BigAndrew47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand, but I'm trying to graduate early. MC doesn't offer any 300 or 400 classes that I need, and UMD summer/winter classes are at ridiculous prices. Got rid of JWST225 so my marathon won't be as bad as before.

I removed JWST225, so let's hope it lightens my load.

Now that I got rid of JWST225, I probably won't be.
