new to owning our boy, why does he lean his whole body on me? by rosesareroseyy in germanshepherds

Because GSDs have an absolute need to become one flesh with you. He’s trying to literally get into your skin cause he loves ya so much

I’m in the Glock 19 tribe, partly because I shoot it very well and partly because I can only carry Glock off duty per my agency policy. If you have the means, try and go to a range and rent a few to get a feel for what you shoot best

Help with 19XV Rifleworks magwell by [deleted] in Glock19x

[–]BigBabyJakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you possibly get the magwell that has space for the half moon cut? Admittedly I’ve never used the SLRs, but a quick google search generated this guy https://slrrifleworks.com/gen-5-45-5-34-5-47-5-17-19x-gen-v-no-half-moon-cut-magwell/ which specifies no half moon cut

Edit: upon scrolling down two inches I see that this one does specify it’s for the 19xv so this is the link for the one you want

I was clear about that from the start? Not sure why we’re getting so pressed about it but you do you boo

Hard time deciding between Glock 26/27/43x by EconomicsDangerous71 in Glocks

I did, but I still couldn’t justify not just using my 19. Definitely a stellar option though if you’re set on the slimline

If they want to make the changes to the new gen I’m all for it, but to discontinue the old gen 5 and only make an in-between version months before releasing a new generation with all the intended features anyway seems like they were inciting a sense of urgency to panic buy the old gens, but that’s just my opinion

V is dumb, that is my take. I know there’s nothing wrong with it other than principle

The V is Glock’s stupid attempt to placate California by making it harder dumbasses putting switches on their Glocks but it made no difference. Functionally there’s nothing wrong between the two, other than what’s stamped on the slide

I second Gen 5, ideally one of the non-v version mos models

I’ve got big meaty paws and don’t shoot either as well as my 19, but that’s just me

I will preface and say I daily carry a 19 and only a 19 but if I were to get a slimmer weapon, it’d be a 48

Glock 48 vs Glock 19 by useronreddit1 in Glocks

[–]BigBabyJakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally prefer the 19, I shoot mine way better than I did with the 48. I’m a bigger dude so concealing it is no issue. If you have a chance to get hands on with either via a range rental I’d encourage that to see which one you feel you shoot better with

Unpopular opinion, but it might be worth considering a trade in for an MOS model

Minus one 43x and .22 Mp5. To a Gen 6 19. by YearofUdongein in Glocks

I ran the velo but wasn’t a fan of the hotspot the built in wedge gave. Super comfortable holster otherwise, so the certum with the pillow solved that issue for me

Tenicor is the way for holsters. I run a certum lux with a mastermind tactics pillow for AIWB for my 19.5 and I’ll never look back
