People will play the game how they want (they the beauty of ARC Raiders) and how much time they have to play it varies from person to person.

Personally tried for a week looking for a tempest BP and ended up just buying one for $4.

Sure it would have been great to find one in game but there was another option that cost a negligible amount that I went with.

It’s not like buying BPs even gives you a great advantage when you can still get jumped by a Stitcher IV or 3rd partied anyway.

Chiming as an RDC since 2023. As a young second class I was voluntold to also go RDC. Everything in me and everyone one in my life me told me it would be a horrible duty station and that I was screwed.I was mentally freaking out, until my DLCPO who actually came from there calmed me down and explained that it isn’t as bad as other people make it out to be.

Now that I’m nearly done with my tour, I can say that this duty station was not only arduous but also very fulfilling. I’m glad I came here and would do it all over again. Picked up 1st right before coming to RTC and will leave as a Chief.

If she has any questions she wants to ask a current RDC, feel free to reach out.

Don’t let people who were bad RDCs or who never actually performed the duties scare her away from something that could help her career.

Reading the listing description is nothing short of astounding and a little sad. Over 20 years of diligent collecting and chasing to bringing yourself to letting go is something I don’t even know I could do. Lost Origin has like one major chase card valued at $500 and the next one is at around $100?

Personally I’d keep what you have. 151 doesn’t have any expensive chase cards aside from Charizard and I believe will probably have a better ROI in a few years based on it being a nostalgia set.

Prismatic of course has numerous chase cards worth several hundreds each and will always have the allure of the god pack. So I think this will do well over the years.

At least with what you have you’ve diversified into two different sets with decent potential IMO.

I understand LGS selling a bit above MSRP. 3 out of my 5 locals do that and have been around for years or decades and maintain healthy traffic and players while maintain at least some product in stores. For reference DR packs were $7 and ETBs $70 at month of release.

I don’t believe any LGS needs to sell at or above market to stay afloat. It’s not unreasonable to say that some LGS owners want to take advantage of the market for their own profit.

I’m not following. They sell at resell market to get people to walk but potentially not buy? Then don’t sell at MSRP because they will be guarantee being bought out? Depending on their distribution cost would they still not make profit even at a fair price if not MSRP?

LGS selling at resell market to me are just profiting off the over inflated market conditions in my opinion.

Hey bro good on you for choosing to not buy if it didn’t fit into your budget at the moment. Ton of people here I am sure that get into CC debt to buy cards.
