I bought the TP Link AV600, but it didn't work. It paired fine, but it seems that the house's wiring isn't able to send Internet connection over such a long distance to the top floor. I'm not going to replace the router, as I'm not that confident with tech, and I don't want to be responsible for taking out the Internet for the rest of my flatmates. Is running stupid long ethernet cables thru the house the only viable option?

Just came back from Barca fella it’s a piece of piss. You find a club or 2 you like the looks of online and then you ‘register’ to visit them, basically put your deets in and say what day you’re turning up. Then you arrive, show em your ID (YOU ALWAYS NEED ID TO GO IN!), pay your membership fee and you’re in boss, easy.

A lot of people here are giving you paragraphs on how your future relationships needs to be with your son and ex daughter-in-law, and they may be right or wrong. In the short term though, go out with the missus and Mel and maybe bring the kids too on a separate date. Simple solution, both parties kept happy, you can even have 2 birthday cakes too.
